FOUNDATION IN DRAWING AND DESIGN-JANUARY 12TH-FEB 15TH

I am planning to offer a series of ONLINE classes for 6 weeks this winter. The 

Language of Drawing is extensive. Through exercise, projects and Independent artwork, students will begin their own practice of Art. I devote two weeks of Sumi.e

at the end of this series as a wonderful way to start your painting practice.

I have added a video from my presentation at the Oregon Society of Artists at the conclusion of my two year Residency at The Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland, OREGON.

This demonstration illustrates how I utilize the techniques of Sumi.e (ink painting on rice papers) when I paint with oils. to learn these techniques over time with a variety of Master Chinese Painters has taught me so much.

I have taught this at the Lan Su Garden and in many different venues since. Please join me this winter 202 and begin again!
